Jules Bending of the Real Ralph Bending Estate Agent is launching a Bulletin Board service whereby he is listing the names and contacts of the cheapest HIPS providers across the UK, so that people can ‘cut out the Estate Agent’ and go to the HIPS providers direct.
He believes estate agents that load the price of HIPS to their clients are ‘scum’. He believes himself to be the only estate agent in the country currently offering this ‘direct’ service in the UK. Glastonbury-based estate agent Jules Bending has previously run adverts where the property details have included such purple prose as “a good home for the Addams family or the Osbournes“ and “if this house were a person she would be dressed in Chanel and not be wearing knickers“. Although popular, he has ruffled a few industry feathers and has now been forced to turn to YouTube to spread his message. As Bending says of his YouTube initiative: “Life will always find a way – Jurassic Park 1993“. It appears estate agents will find a way too.
